CELEBRATING MASS WITH BISHOP PATRICK

Post date: Oct 5, 2018 1:38:53 PM

Please note that Bishop Patrick will visit St Hugh’s on the following dates this year:

“Let the Earth be Glad”: The Justice and Peace Commission’s annual assembly is on Saturday, 10th November from 10am until 4pm. Join us for a day of inspiration, challenge and networking, opening with Mass celebrated by Bishop Patrick. Explore how the gospel calls us today to live for justice, peace and care of creation. With Graham Gordon, CAFOD’s Head of Public Policy, and Cllr Chris Burke, recent Mayor of Lincoln, we’ll tackle climate change and imagine what a ‘zero-carbon’ diocese could look like. Share exciting new plans for justice and peace in the diocese.

125th Anniversary of the opening of St Hugh’s Church: Bishop Patrick will celebrate the 10am Mass on Sunday, 16th December. There will be refreshments in the church hall after Mass, and then at 4pm you are invited to join Fr Matthew and former priests and seminarians of St Hugh’s for Vespers.

We hope you can attend one of the Masses (or both) and help to

give Bishop Patrick a very warm St Hugh’s welcome.
