CLERK TO THE GOVERNORS REQUIRED for St Hugh’s Catholic Primary Academy, Woodfield Avenue, Doddington Park, Lincoln

The Governing Board is currently looking to appoint a Clerk to Governors, to start in September 2016.  This will involve minute taking at three full Governing Board meetings in an academic year, all of which are held in the evening, as well as other administrative tasks in order to ensure the smooth running of the governing body. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising the Governing Board on constitutional matters, duties and powers, while working within the current legislative

framework. You will ensure the continuity of Governing Board business and observe confidentiality requirements.  You will also liaise with the Diocese.  A key part of the role is to prepare and circulate agenda for Governing Board meetings, take notes at the meetings and prepare and circulate the minutes.
