EVENTS AT ST HUGH’S AND THE LINCOLN DEANERY DURING LENT

Bishop Patrick will visit St Hugh’s on Tuesday, 23rd February to lead a Penitential Service for the Lincoln Deanery. The Service will begin at 7pm and be followed by individual Confessions with Bishop Patrick and deanery priests.

Please make every effort to attend on this important occasion during the Year of Mercy.

Lent Course: The Parables of Mercy in Luke’s Gospel, starting on Monday, 15th February. Parishioners of St Hugh’s are invited to join the five week Lent Course at Our Lady of Lincoln church. There are two sessions each Monday: after the 9.30am Mass with Deacon John; and on the same evening with Fr Colin. The reflection for Week 1 is: The Good Samaritan; and for Week 2 (22nd February): The Lost Sheep.

Station Masses: There are two Station Masses this year. Thursday, 18th February at Woodhall Spa and Thursday, 3rd March at Our Lady of Lincoln. On both occasions there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 6pm, during which individual Confessions may be made, followed by Mass at 7pm.

A Reflection for Lent: Thursday, 10th March at St Hugh’s, beginning at 7pm. Further details will follow.
