Post date: May 4, 2012 2:23:51 PM

Fri, 8th & Sat 9th June: Following an initiative from the Parish of Our Lady of Lincoln the Catholic Churches in the

Lincoln Deanery will be holding a 40 hr vigil before the Blessed Sacrament to pray for vocations, with a special

emphasis on prayer for Christian families; that they might produce priestly vocations and vocations to the religious

life and diaconate. We will also pray for Deacon Simon Gillespie whose Priestly Ordination will take place in

St Barnabas’ Cathedral on the 11th June.

Friday, 8th June: St Peter and St Paul – 6am to 6pm

Our Lady and St Peter’s, Woodhall Spa – 6pm to 8pm

Our Lady of Lincoln – 8pm to 8am (Saturday)

Saturday , 9th June: Holy Rood, Market Rasen – 8am to 10am

St Hugh’s – 10am to 10pm

For St Hugh’s, there is a rota at the back of the church and I would like to encourage

parishioners to sign up for a one hour period before the Blessed Sacrament, ensuring

that there are an appropriate number of people present in the church throughout the Vigil.
