Good Friday, 3rd April 2015 at St Hugh’s

11am: Stations of the Cross (NB there is no 10am Service on Good Friday)

All those who participate in Stations of the Cross are invited to take part in the Walk of

Witness in the centre of Lincoln.

11.30am: Walk from St Hugh’s to St Swithin’s Church.

11.45am: Walk of Witness (in silence, with members of all the other churches in the

Eastern end of Lincoln) from St Swithin’s to the Stonebow.

11.50am: We come together with the Walks from the North, South and West of Lincoln, in the form of a Walking Cross, and re-group behind the four cross bearers, the Salvation Army Band, the Civic Party and guests, and all those taking part.

12-12.30pm: The Churches Together Good Friday Service at the war memorial outside

St Benedict’s Chuch (opposite Boots).

3pm: The Solemn Celebration of the Passion of the Lord will take place at

St Hugh’s, Our Lady of Lincoln, and St Peter and St Paul churches.

Please make every effort to attend the 3pm Service,

which is the climax and focal point of Good Friday.

Volunteers are requested for the Good Friday Walk of Witness from the Western end of Lincoln. Please gather outside the Friends Meeting House (Beumont Fee/Park St) at 11.45am for the short walk to the Stonebow. Further information from Mary Wilford: 01522 800114.
