PRAYER VIGIL AT ST HUGH’S ON SATURDAY 11TH JULY FROM 7–8 PM

Post date: Jul 3, 2015 1:47:18 PM

Why? Every parish in England and Wales has been asked to hold a Prayer Vigil next weekend for Evangelisation: spreading the Joy of the Gospel.

How does this affect me? Every baptised person, no matter how young, or how old, shares this mission of the Church, which is to bring the Good News to other people, mostly by our example and the way we lead our lives.

Please ake a special effort to attend this vigil and join with thousands of other Catholics, who will all be praying for the same result: to further the work of bringing about God’s Kingdom here on Earth. If you would like further details, see Fr John, David Knight or Mary Wilford.

“Jesus is Alive – Go and tell my brothers.” This is the theme of the next Prayer and

Reflection session at St. Hugh’s on the morning of Saturday, 11th July, 11.30 am -12.30 pm.

It doesn’t matter if you haven’t been to any of the previous sessions. Feel free to come to this one and reflect on the subject of evangelisation before the vigil in the evening. It will be much more meaningful if you have thought about it in advance.
