Post date: Apr 16, 2015 12:26:43 PM

Proclaim ’15 is the name of a new initiative from the Catholic Bishops of England and Wales to support the development of parish evangelisation. It is inspired by Pope Francis’ book, Evangelii Gaudium (The Joy of the Gospel), and has five parts: three Prayer/Reflection sessions around themes from Scripture; a Prayer Vigil in parishes on Saturday, 11th July, the same day as the National Catholic Evangelisation Conference in Birmingham; a Proclaim ’15 event for every diocese during the Autumn

(the provisional date for the Diocese of Nottingham is Saturday, 17th October); new publications and resources for evangelisation.

At St Hugh’s the Prayer and Reflection sessions will take place on Saturday mornings from 11.30am to 12.30pm. The dates and themes are:

Saturday, 2nd May – Meeting Jesus, the only one who can save me.

Saturday, 13th June – Learning to be a missionary disciple, sitting at the feet of Jesus.

Saturday, 11th July – Jesus is alive, go and tell my brothers and sisters.
