Last Sunday we gave out the white collection envelopes for the Sick an Retired Priests Fund, those together with our own blue envelopes will be collected at all Masses this Sunday, with loose plate for those not using envelopes. Please remember if you wish to gift aid your donation you need to use the white envelope.
Monsignor Brian Dazely writes: ‘Once again, I am writing to invite you to continue the support of our sick and retired Priests who have served us so unstintingly for very many years.
The demands on our funds have not diminished. During the course of this financial year we have helped thirty-three priests. Indeed, if you can commit to more regular giving during the course of the year as well as this special annual collection, this will be greatly welcomed. Unusually, for us, we have not received a legacy during the last twelve months.
I know you will be generous as always and assure you of the gratitude and prayers of our sick and retired brethren.
