St Thomas of Canterbury RC Church, Gainsborough is participating in this event and will be opening its doors to the public on Saturday 14th May from 10am until 5pm, and Sunday 15th May from 10.30am until 5pm. In addition to visitors being able to look around the church there will be an exhibition of period christening, wedding and mourning wear, as well as a display celebrating St Thomas’ 150th anniversary this year. Refreshments are available. St Thomas’ is not the only church in the area participating in the festival and visitors to Gainsborough can enjoy a pleasant visit to the other churches.
